Jackson County HP

You might want to add that Richthofen is possibly the Jackson County highpoint since it shares the same elevation as Clark Peak. Also, the link to my site does not appear to work...

Not Jackson HP

Richthofen is not even close to Jackson County. That highpoint of Jackson is Zirkel. Also, Richthofen shows as 12,940 on every topo map I can find. So while it might be labeled as 12951 on this site, I can find nothing that backs that up on the topo maps.

Interestingly, the stamp on the Benchmark on the summit says 12,951. Which elevation is correct or why it differs from the map is something I wouldn't know though. If it were my page (it isn't), I'd probably choose the one on the most recent map, unless I knew otherwise, but that's only my personal opinion.

Richthofen is not even close to Jackson County

It's on the border of Jackson and Grand Counties.

That highpoint of Jackson is Zirkel.

Zirkel is the highpoint of Routt County, and it also on the border of Jackson County, but there are mountains in Jackson County or on the border that are higher than Zirkel.

Re: Not Jackson HP

Okay, the height will be edited to reflect the discrepancy, the other statements are, however, accurate as far as I can tell.
