In this pic you can see that the Hogsback Ridge is offset aprox 30m west of its usual position that leads through the pearly gates. Because of this most people climbed the variation to the west of the Hogsback route. -January 14, 2007

Pretty incredible, huh? I was amazed when I was there at how intricate the rime ice features were.
