Olševa from Matk farm

This is the view from Matk farm (Kamnik and Savinja Alps) on the Karawanks range near Olševa / Uschowa mountain. We see the limestone ridge of Olševa mountain, rising above the fertile terrace, where many high farms are located, connected with a panoramic road. Below is the upper valley of Savinja river, separating the two big mountain groups (Karawanks and Kamnik & Savinja Alps). From the high terrace down to the valley some almost vertical limestone crags are falling (Klemenškova peč, Strevčeva peč,...). They are suitable also for hard mountain climbs. September 12th, 2020.
