Old Guard on left, Sentinel right

Nick and I are at the 7300 foot pass traveling south on day 3 of the Ptarmingan Traverse,north to south. Here you drop south from LeConte Glacier (south end of LeConte Mt Ridge) to South Cascade Glacier and on to White Rock Lakes. We decided we could do Old Guard on the way south, even at 3:00PM. 8/3/11
