Old wagon road
Taken 11/27/04 this is the view of the old wagon road 400 vertical feet above the river on the north face of Shellrock Mountain. This road was hand built in 1876 completely without morter - instead using stones simply fitted together. Amazing it has lasted this long! This view is looking to the northwest at Wind Mountain across the Columbia River.
