Olympic Mtn Goat

Olympic Mtn Goat

I've always wondered about the tales of friendly mountain goats. Here in the northern section of BC they are still hunted and run when confronted by people. So now I finally have seen the legendary friendly Olympic Park Mtn goats.

Re: Is that

It should be - I think the Park service tethers them to trails. It is a locator radio collar.

What ??

You mean, after the awesome band
Guess Who put out that
song "Guns, Guns, Guns" back in
the early 1970s, people are still
hunting in BC??? If you want to
see some extremely friendly goats,
go to Indian Bar in MRNP. The
goats are all over the place,
along with the bear and elk!!

Re: What ??

Hope you find solitude in knowing that
I don't enjoy hunting. But some do,
because it's in their blood. Native
Americans became great hunters, but
they mainly hunted to survive. They
didn't have an automobile to drive to
a strip mall to buy a loaf of bread.
Yes, the east side of Rainier is a great
place! I had a friend working there, but
they moved to central AZ. Have a nice
weekend!! - Larry
