Re: That quite an impressive...Ich hab mich immer gewundert, wie bringen Leute so einen Kreuz auf dem Gipfel? Ich kann es verstehen, z.b. auf der Zugpitze, aber auf Bergen die steiler sind oder weit von der Stadt sind, wie baut mann dass denn auf? Just curious, it seems like a lot of effort, and it is very cool, but the logistics must be a nightmare!

Re: That quite an impressive...Normally it´s quite simple. The cross was built in the valley. Handworker went up and a helicopter brought the cross to the top.
Imagine what kind of effort it was to build Capanne Magherita on top of Signalkuppe in a height of 4500m (!) 100years ago.
