Dis you climb Pico Viejo

from this side? It's the worst route I have ever been on. At least that's how I remember it.

Yes. I took this eastern route up instead of traversing all the way over from the cable-car building. I believe it was sendaro #13? I was impressed with the summit view. The caldera was considerably deeper and larger than what I would have thought. The hike out was intolerably hot. I was down to my shoes and shorts only! Is it just me or did this route just seem to go on and on and on...
