On the (secondary) summit of cerro Miniques (Chile)

5800m. In the background : laguna and cerro Miscanti and more amazing volcanoes that I've ever seen. Tough climb from the laguna, as Fabrice and I took a wrong and steep route on unstable rocks. Once we arrived on this summit, we realised that the real one was just behind this false one... and a bit too far for two exhausted climbers ! Anyway, the view was indeed rewarding and worth the effort. On the summit, we found what seemed to be very old branches of wood. March 2006.
