I was not so glad about the pure manner, at least when descending the ski run. It seemed it would never end. As for the pictures - this is my favourite because of the depth it reveals. It shows the jumbled character of the Altopiano perfectly. Judith was quite annoyed with my stopping 100m after leaving the summit and taking even more pictures :-)
Your pictures always have typical colours and are very focused. I wonder how you do it. Looks like a rugged part of the alps.

The trick is using a pol filter. It reduces stray light significantly, thus making colors seem more intense. If you're interested - About a year ago I wrote an article about this
The Julian Alps are indeed a vrey rugged mountain range but this part (the Italian one) is far less rugged than the eastern Slovenian one.
