This spot on the Skyline trail road is where the road drops over to the Joe's Valley Reservoir side. The road coming up from Ephraim is wide and well constructed whereas the road becomes narrower and not as enjoyable as you drop down to Joe's Valley. A few spots are nasty with big drop offs so hope you don't meet someone in those sections. If I had it to do again, I'd come in from the east side and forget the route from Ephraim. BTW, the elevation of the road at this spot is a bit over 10,200 feet. 7-26-10
