One big Son of a Gun.

Since I reached the summit of Pilot on Halloween in 2008, I've long since forgotten how big this mountain is. After all it is a Nevada Ultra-Prom, with over 5000 feet of prominence. For me personally it is hard to believe that it's almost been 10 years since standing on the summit of the impressive, truly pain in the ass mountain. This photo was taken from Pilot Valley on the west side of Pilot Peak, showing some late winter/early spring snow up higher. I found this awesome shot from a customer's yard out there. Cool stuff.
