#4 of 4 Peaks  Sucess!

I think we were draggin' a little big from Big Horn to Ontario Peak. So sad with all the dead trees but the late afternoon lighting was cool.

Ascended via Falling Rock Canyon and descended on Peak Trail. Bagged Bighorn on the way and descended directly from the summit to Icehouse Saddle.

First time up  Sucess!

First time up Ontario. Enjoyable trail, though the trees along the ridge looked sad in the second summer of drought.

Two Peaks  Sucess!

Saw someone on top of the false summit but the trail keeps going to the true summit (no register we could find though). Lots of the new tree growth looks diseased but it could be from drought. Nice hike with amazing views. One one side the vast city and on the other side just mountains. You could boulder at the top but it's kinda high off the deck - I'd want a toprope.

From Icehouse Canyon  Sucess!

I did this peak solo after doing Cucamonga Peak with a group. The area between Kelly's camp and the ridge is interesting semi-barren terrain. After you get on the ridge headed toward the summit, there are literally dozens of large logs strewn across the trail. After coming down from Ontario, I did BigHorn as well. It was a beautiful day and the superb trails make these peaks so accessible.
