BeautifulThis is a fantastic shot. It is amazing the number of different climates that orchids live in.

Re: BeautifulGlad you like it. There were quite many of these orchids around - but I only found them at the most remote part of the place. This one stood in a shady corner into which only a narrow beam of light shone.
It hit the orchid square in the face ...

Re: BeautifulWay to go. I find it tough to hit stationary objects sometime too! I hava a similar shot that I took when I was a kid. It is what we call a Shooting Star here in Montana, it also is an orchid that grows in wet shady areas in our mountains. People make tea out of the stems (so I hear) but I have never tried it. Cheers
