Re: Why?This tower of the XIV century is the only remained testimony of the 3 villages of Curon, Resia and San Valentino, which in 1950 had to give the place to the building of the reservoir. Even though the population opposed resistance, the level of water of both the natural lakes (Resia lake and Curon lake) had increased by 22 meters and the whole plateau which was including 677 hectares of land was inundated.
