Our Shepherd Guide

An eerie view of one of the high-altitude shepherds around Haba, a man whom we only knew as "Shēng." My partner and I needed an easier access to the mountain's upper reaches, so after paying him 100 RMB, he agreed to show us a better access point. It was money well-spent! He showed us access to the mountain's upper slopes and we even found a nice, sheltered campsite!
