This boot has carried me on dry ground all along the wasatch as a great hiker, as well as across snow and glacier to the tops of Grand Teton and Rainier to name a few. This boot is very warm in the winter and in cold temperatures. It can get a little warm in the summer on hot days and hot trails. This has been a much more versatile boot in comparison to some of the other mountaineering boots that are currently available. I highly recommend the Glacier EVO if you are looking for a tough-rugged boot that will protect your feet and give you great traction as well as handle a higher altitude and colder temps.
