Use the Gripper Gloves for 3 years now, solo in the winter, for ice climbing and mountaineering. Great grip, the gloves are very robust and the comfort and warmth is good.

I've owned a pair of Gripper Gloves for several years now. They have a comfortable, non-bulky fit. The palms are grippy and durable. Perhaps my favorite feature is the tapered wrist which interfaces very well with a jacket and layers.

Not very durable
The OR Gripper Gloves are warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, they are not very durable. Despite being careful with them, I've worn holes through the fingers after only a handful of trips. The gripper material is great for gripping, but they don't seem to add any level of durability to the glove. The fingertips of my gloves have worn through just as quickly as other fleece gloves that don't have the gripper material on them.

Mostly dexterous
I got these at an REI garage sale for $5. What I really wanted was liner gloves, and these didn't fit the bill. The palm of the glove was stiffer than what I was looking for, so at first I was mildly disappointed.
Then I started climbing in them, and found them to be an excellent balance between dexterity and protection. If you get them what they're supposed to be used for, you'll love them. These are now my go-to glove for rougher conditions until I pull out my massive mitts.
