Really Beautiful!

This is a wonderful beautiful picture! I love the colorful skirt she is wearing and the colors in her pack...I can't tell if they are mules or donkeys, but they are wonderful! Love how all the colors and textures look against the landscape. Beautiful and moving picture to me..Thank you!

Me too.

I am glad that I am not the only one who finds the mule thing a little wierd. Nice photo.

Re: Me too.

yup. One local asked us if we were broke cuz we didnt do the mule thing. Or when they ask who the guide is. Um, we rotate being in front and yes, we are on a tight budget :)

Re: Me too.

I have had similar experiences. I was nearly refused a place to camp at Aconcagua’s base camp because I didn't contract for mules.

Give

your knees another 25 years or so. I'm 55 and can't carry a heavy load any more. Too painful. So it is either day hike or arrange for a 'mule'. Don't be so arrogant.

It is a nice picture.
