Good page, but with one exception. Even though you put directions for Kings Pinnacle, you should at least copy and paste those directions and put them on this page. You want people to know exactly how to get there.
Tons of rock climbing on Crowder's. I listened to a German climber teaching a young southern lass how to climb while I was at the summit. His English wasn't so hot, and she spoke with a strong southern dialect, so it was kind of funny to listen in. (I couldn't help myself.)
I just bought my first digital camera the night before heading over to Crowder's. The main photo is the very first outdoor shot I took with it (Canon A80). Still working out the bugs.
Like the page and your focus on less popular but just as important mountains. Are planning on writing about any of the Uwharrie Mountains to the east of Charlotte?
Yeah, I'd like to do a page on the Uwharries, as soon as I can go over and take some nice photos. Morrow Mountain, of course, and maybe one of the lesser peaks there.
Nice to see some more NC mountains. I would contribute but I am in TX and will soon be in CO till july, so I do not have access to my old pictures. Take it easy.

Untitled CommentGood work Bob, this one was in Chris Hall's book Southern Rock and I never did know exactly where it was.

Untitled CommentLooks good... I understand still working out the bugs with one's camera... my favourite shot is still of my camera strap or my thumb.

Untitled CommentAs I can, I will add more NC mountains. Hopefully some from Georgia, also. Going to climb two peaks tomorrow.

It's a local peak. Close enough so that I can run over there and climb it when I get stir crazy for the mountains.
