Painted Hills

Hiking across country from the Red Hill I came across this hillside that offered this expansive view towards the lake and beyond. From atop Carrol Rim Trail you can see the oddly shaped landforms that resemble half a saucer or mesa, or whatever you woukld want to call them up close. In this image on the right you may be able to see the golden line emitting from their edges. They are an interesting group of hillsides.
