just off the trail at the top of Painter Basin before climbing up the trail to Anderson Pass? Great picture!

Exactly! It's a great site if you want to carry a heavy pack over Gunsite. It sure beats the crowds at Dollar Lake.

I agree. I camped there when I did the Highline Trail in 2006. I think I have a picture of our camp in my TR, 9 days on the Highline. My pic is a plain old daytime shot though. Again, very cool picture.
