Squaw, Chief, and Papoose
Combo with Chief and Squaw. Easy round trip hike on a sunny May morning. Just a little bit of snow on the Chief Mountain Trail. Easy to avoid snow heading up to Papoose from the saddle with Chief.

Long outing
With several others. Weather up high was too bad. Stopped by El Rancho Brewery afterwards.

From Chief Mountain
With Maria. We summited Chief first, then went over to Papoose and Lobdellized the summit. Lots and lots of people on Chief, no one at all on Papoose.

From Chief Mtn
CMC Trip. We got chief first, then Papoose. We Lobdellized the summit, then headed over to Squaw Mountain. There's still a lot of snow up there, but snowshoes are not required.
I've been up Chief at least a dozen times but had never made the short bushwhack over to Papoose. Did it today in about 20 minutes roundtrip (from the saddle on the Chief Mtn. Trail). Worth it for the view of Chief from the summit and the solitude. Heavy graupel on the descent.

Squaw/Papoose/Chief
Papoose is definitely the nicest of the three in my opinion. Trees, but more seclusion feel to it.

With Squaw
Wasn't sure which was the high point, so I went to all of them. Nice day, love the sun!

With Chief & Squaw
Not much of a summit but a logical place to visit if you're combining Chief & Squaw... gotta keep the family complete.

Via saddle with Chief
Needed a nice, quiet day that wouldn't "kill" the husband. Trips up Warrior and Papoose met the need. Nice powder from the saddle up to the Papoose summit.
