Amazing ...

I wish I could get the sky to turn out like
that in my photos.

What do you think the emergency radio towers
are being used for, and by whom?

Seems like it would be difficult to get
them up there, unless they were transported
by helicopter.

Thanks Larry. I hadn't seen it marked on the map so I just found it while hiking up there. There was a small building on top for the radio equipment and another shed below the cliffs that holds rescue equipment. It was transported by helicopter. The sign says: This building contains Emergency Radio Equipment. It is used by the forest service and BLM as well as city, county and state cooperators for fire, search and rescue, and other incidents.
