Route Climbed: Adventure Ridge Date Climbed: June 25th 2005
We camped on the side of Breitenbush Gorge. Parked at the Crown Lake trailhead. Walked into Crown Lake, past Clagget Lake and started the bushwhack up to Bear Point. For lack of a better name for this un-mamed ridge we decided to call it Adventure Ridge. We followed the ridge line to Park Ridge summit. We ran out of time or we would have explored the craggy ridge to Park Butte. Maybe next time.

a pretty pleasant hike through some pretty neat country. I had nice views of Mount Jefferson and Jefferson Park. The views to the north were pretty hazy due to wildfires. I could see smoke billowing up from one near Mount Wilson. Still quite a few snowfields which were nice and cool after being in the hot sun all day.

10/14/01 Accidentally decided to do this one when I overshot the trail to Pyramid Butte. Weather was terrible - cold and rainy and windy with almost no visibility. When I got to the pass over the Ridge, I looked at my map, saw a summit marker and just turned right and climbed up the ridge one or two hundred yards to the summit point. Got a quick photo and got out of there as the gusts about knocked me off the summit.
9/15/16 With Diane, Luna and Ramsey. What a difference 15 years makes. Well, the road in is still the same. But it was a brilliant blue sky day with loads of visibility and sun. Huckleberries were turning red. Saw all the tarns and ponds I missed this time. Confirmed I made the summit last time. Lounged by a lake that the dogs swam in. Talked to a lot of PCT Thru-Hikers. Got sunburned. Excellent day except for the views of poor Pyramid Butte that was devastated by a forest fire. Nothing but charred snags and dirt and rock now. Great views from the summit down into Jefferson Park. I need to get into that area sometime.
