agreedthis hike is stunningly beautiful... i did it twice last year, the second time after a summer of working in Glacier NP where i hiked over 350 miles, and it was easily one of the most enjoyable hikes of the entire summer. beautiful fall colors in the prairie grass, a solitary bison along the trail, a herd of elk that spotting our hiking group from at least a mile away, a vibrant sunset, petrified rocks and interesting rock formations, and the Badlands of North Dakota.... i highly recommend it to anyone who's passing through.
