Pavel is on the famous "wave" pitch of Matthes Crest. Despite the available rope, protection here is non-existent. We flaked the slack of rope on the other side of the overhang, so in case if one of us falls, it may get snagged. Sounded good in theory at that time :) - July 23, 2005
