Beautiful Hike on a Cloudy Day
We hiked up from nearby La Alberca through a beautiful forest, meadow, and up the NE ridge. There was still a lot of snow on the summit and visibility was very low. There was no one else at the monastery at the summit, but the main chapel was open. As it was very cold outside, we ate lunch in the chapel.
