Peak 10,583T, "Little Thunder Mountain"

Seen from the eastern slopes of Thunder Mountain. Yes, this is a crappy photo, but if it has one virtue, it is that it reveals the two notches, especially the upper one (you may have to enlarge this photo to see them well), that are serious impediments to a climb directly along the west ridge. Instead, the best route (Class 3 and 4) starts somewhat below the saddle and ascends the right face as shown here. The page for this peak has more specific details about the climbing route.
