Looking for access to the high crest
The south side of the Atlas isn't really set up for "efficient" mountain tourism--maps are poor and hard to find, trekking trails are set up for multiday traverses, and local guides who actually know something can be hard to meet. This worked as a do-it-yourself one-day trip to the true high country, and but for 50 mph winds and sideways snow, it would have made a great access to Iferouane.
