Huge Views of 2 Lakes
Nice trail, but long enough to make the final upclimb quite tiring. Fun scrambling at very top, Views extremely good in partly cloudy weather. With Chris Janito and Dennis Goldsmith.

With Snow Valley Peak
From Spooner summit, went up Snow Valley Peak and down to North Canyon, went up the north slope of 8738, found it to be easy class 2, only had to scramble up a few rocks at the very top, the final boulder looked hard but was able to circle around and it was not too difficult. Returned via North Canyon to Spooner Lake. TR is HERE.

Biked up North Canyon Road. Took the forest service road around to the north side of Peak 8738. Took my bike up a short way, and left if behind a rock. Then I walked up the rest of the way and scrambled up to the summit.
