Nice, informative

Candace,

Nice page, full of good information. "Some people (like Sarah) should bring climbing shoes for the summit pitch." hahahaha....

I'll get a mountain page up for this one ASAP!

Oy.

Peak T rating

5.5 is a reasonable rating for this. When we did it we used a rope first, then did it again without the rope, both up and down, and all three members of our party. It is not beyond 5.5.

I have to also question the labeling of big horns with "good handhold". That is too much information for a 12-foot face with lots of broken rock.

But a big issue is that Wilderness regulations state that leaving slings like this is a violation. Now anyone who explores the Gore seriously knows that occasionally a rap sling must be left. But here throwing the rope over the giant boulder works perfectly well. If anyone else should visit this area, please remove the slings. Knee surgery prevents me from contemplating that now, but I will consider it.

I applaud you for taking the time to register a blank, anonymous profile on SP for the sole purpose of being a self righteous prick.

Well done!

To thee I dedicate some Volbeat - Counting all the assholes in the room - you're definitely not alone!

Hope your knee feels better.
