Peaks above the Gul Khwaja Uween Glacier

These peaks and glacier lie at the head of the Mintaka Valley in the extreme North of the Karakoram. None of the peaks have names and all are probably unclimbed. I took this photo whilst climbing to the Mintaka Pass (4726m) on the Pakistani-Chinese border during June 2005. The Google map gives you an indication of just how far North this is.
