Saw your report on 14ers after my son told me of the ordeal. John is a good friend of my son and I'm glad and not surprised to see that he held fast and came through at the end. Holy Cross is tough in the summer, I can only imagine the difficulties your group overcame.

I'm going to be moving back to Ft. Collins later this summer for CSU. One of my priorities is to get out with John for some trad climbs. He's a really cool guy, good heart. Maybe your son would end up joining us on a climb or two?
