Photographing the Night Sky near Sasakwa, OK

Shot during a recent Boy Scout campout to Camp Sasakwa, OK. My friend, David, is shooting a photo of the night sky. I shot him and the sky with a 30-second exposure and a 10-22 mm lens set wide open, ISO 3200. He is lit by the display on his camera. The reddish light in the trees is from the remains of a campfire--a red traffic flare is dying out that had been used during a special ceremony, giving the color. Imaged in November 2011.
