That is a dusting of snow and not the 8-10 inches that you said fell overnight. BTW ive spent 10x the days on that hill then you have. BTW some friends skied bloody on the 7th of this month, maybe you should give it a try too, or do you not ski the backcountry?

Off course you have Troll.

Whatever.... later AQUA TROLLASS.

Interesting how Sonora Pass has indeed Closed and my up the street neighbor buddy (local ES Cal-Trans Sup) says 120, TP, is right behind. Closure parameters for both, 8" of fresh snow or greater.

Bottom line to all this... BE CAREFUL OUT THERE FOLKS!

As more clouds begin to part directly in front of my yard less than two minutes ago. The Aspens are Hilton Creek drainage and that completely white (snow) area breaking through the clouds directly behind it, begins at the 8900' level btw...

Just walked the dog from Onion Valley up to Gilbert Lake (10,400') and back. About two inches of snow on the ground and light snow falling at Gilbert with Onion Valley snow free. Some rock fall on the road but passable. Still plenty of nice color up there when the clouds part.

Are you two really fighting about the weather? There's not even any porn involved in this?

It's just a matter of semantics. What's considered heavy snowfall to a fisherman is considered a dusting by a mountaineer.

jab jab! :)
