This weekend there was a fatality at Granite as well as a couple of rescues. The death was of an experienced climber from Idaho. Apparently he was struck by a Volkswagen sized boulder on his way down the mountain. RIP.

Individual outdoor sports activities will be authorised from May 11, respecting the rules of physical distancing and within a limit of 100 kilometers from the home.
For now, mountain activities will only be possible during the daytime: no nights in refuges or bivouacing.
