Not a big issue but I'm curious to know why a particular photo appears on a page at night but shows up as an x during the day??? Photo in question is #612214 on page #612206, "Some thoughts on early season travel". Seems quite bizzare to me??

My activity on SP is almost nil these days. SP has changed (for the better for most, not for me - I would say it got a bit too diluted), and has less appeal to me as it used to. Also, my interests have shifted.

Anybody know what happened to the Adam's Peak page from Sri Lanka? I can only guess that a disgruntled owner left the site and deleted all his objects. Now all I can find is two route pages with no parent:

The other day, by playing with the Google geomap that appears when clicking on the coordinates of a mountain, I started to play a bit by adding few parameters to the URL, like the author ID, and an idea came to my mind : why not implementing a "geomap" that would be on each profile, in order to identify the "area(s) of action" of every SPer ?

The Churfirsten page (http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/153141/churfirsten.html) I would like to take over. It would work better as an area/range page rather than a mountain/rock page. That way, people can add each individual peak as a mountain page (the Churfirsten is a group of 7 separate peaks). I'm going to tag at least a few of them this summer.

Hi, not sure if this has been covered before, but wouldn't it be great if the FS stuff had its own page outside of the Gear page. That would mean that the gear page would be more relevant to the topic than mixing it up with people wanting to arrange a deal. Just a thought. Cheers,
