Hey, tiger, I've got $20 already toward the trip. Maybe we could get an over-40 expedition together (women only, of course)? There has to be some organization that'll sponsor a trip based on those personnel parameters. Ya think?

I know. A SUMMITPOST sponsored trip!!!!! 'Bout time the boys got behind the women on this website. :P

No, boys, don't go there....I didn't set you up for ANYTHING.

I thought about K2. Haven't we all?

I've done a lot of reading on K2 and concluded it's a mountain scares the crap out of me. I would love to climb it, no question about it. I'd love just to stand at the base of it! It's that burn inside my chest that never seems to go away. K2 seems so beautiful and alluring that way. It really is a siren song.

Maybe if I was single and had no kids. Then it would just be my life.

I guess I'll just resume my humble life of climbing the ADK's in the winter, climbing 14's in the summertime, and leaving my under garments scattered about..... ;-)

Remember that Annapurna has the highest death ratio of all 8000ers. China (Tibet) has organized a true competition by closing Sisha Pangma :?
