I, too, found out the hard way that glop stopper wax needs to be a permanent fixture in my SOCAL ski kit!

Yeah, I used to do that alot, especially on icy trails and spring stuff early in the day that is still frozen, and blammo! It tore the shit out of my skins.

I am just waiting for them to totally rip, so I can explain to my wife that I REALLY need new skins. :?

I bought some ski wax at the local Sport Chalet. I had to order the BD Glop-Stopper skin wax from REI.
