Thanks, you gave some useful clues based on the good guesses that people made. Same latitude as Morocco but far, also far from the Middle east, but Macedonia was close and used to be in Turkey. So I looked up a map of the Ottoman Empire, then triangulating a bit Google Imaged "Crete mountains mosque" as a first guess and a similar photo came up near the top of the page. Having not played this before I'm not really sure what the rules are so hope that was acceptable(!)

I don't have too many pics that won't be giveaways in general or similar to what I've already uploaded to SP so this is the best I can do. Also, not sure of the rules still but apparently we are not limited to Europe, so keep that in mind of this one. Summit is in the clouds:
