I'm very unsure what you guys are expecting from a (for-profit) consumer products company. If you don't want to pay the premium for products that perform as promised and which a half-life allows for hand-me-downs, purchase from other companies as some of you have demonstrated.

Please show me other consumer product companies that have led the way espousing their environmental beliefs while making an attempt to implement operations in a responsible manner. Painting all Chinese suppliers as evil ain't going to cut it because that is not the reality and is instead a belief based in fear.

If you haven't done so yet, you may want to read Yvon's books and perhaps you'll have a better sense of the man and his ideals, which he is the first to admit, require compromise in the real world. The two must reads are:
