Spread it Out Over Three Days for Maximum Enjoyment

Perfect spread out over three days. A half day to get to the top and relax (porters available for the lazy). A full second day to do the full 17km. of trails circling the perimeter of the plateau, ending at sunset on the west side. Then hike 4-5km by flashlight back to the campsite. At the campsite there are showers, eateries, places to rent tents/blankets/bungalows, and charge your cell phone. On day three, catch the sunrise from the east side (1-2km from campsite), and then a leisure hike back down the mountain (3-4 hours).

Main Trail  Sucess!

This was a fun mountain. It was nice to be able to hike in a different type of environment than I'm used to. I got to take two of my cousins on their very first hike. They both enjoyed it. Phu Kradueng National Park is a great place. If I ever go back I plan to camp on the plateau and hike all of the trails.
