Re: Great shot!It was 5am in the morning. My legs were gasping for O2. I was shivering despite having FOUR layers of Arcteryx on. I glanced to my right to see the shadow of the mountain I endeavored to summit being cast against the western sky. Quick snap of the camera so that I wouldnt slow the progression of the team roped together. Got home 2 weeks later, looked at pictures on my computer, and realized that I had completely inadvertently taken one of the best pictures of my life.

Re: Great shot!Sounds as if it were just a wee bit cold up there... ;-)
It certainly is a fantastic shot, also because the moon is right vertically above the tip of the shadow. This makes for a very fine composition!!
