Picture NE Buttress
Climbed the NE Buttress with Ajay. I led most of it. We descended from the notch on the ridge. We topped out the NE Buttress but did not go to the true summit

SW Gulley
All chutes still had snow but I was able to squeeze around it. Terrible steep sand! Descended south face to avoid scree and snow. Enjoyed the Class 4 way more! Long day due to stomach ache but at least I exited before the thunderstorm.

Via SW gully
Climbed the left of three chutes on the south, southwest side. 9hrs r/t from Sailor Lake. This was a normal snow year and these gullies were still choked with snow in late July. W/ Rahil, Peter & Reza.

SE ridge
very exciting, exhilarating (sometimes questionable) 4th class ridge. Right when all hope seems to be lost because of looming head walls, there is a miraculous ramp leading you to a route up the summit...descended the SW chute. Had tons of fun on summit, great summit block, gorgeous views. Shared the summit with my boo-boo

SW Face
Climbed from camp on Moonlight Lake. Good fun after the initial part of the chute, and a nice summit, though the surrounding visibility was minimal.

Challenge day 3
I was trying to get to Haeckel and Wallace, but ran out of gas. Luckily there was this alternate challenge peak nearby. Nonetheless, it is an excellent peak with outstanding views.

SW chute
2008 Sierra Challenge Day 4. Climbed the wrong chute too far to the west and had to traverse quite a bit along the ridge coming from Haeckel. Still a very fun, fairly easy day. Some Photos.

NE FaceA burly route with sections of scarce/questionable gear, two OWs and two squeeze chimneys. A beautiful long day of getting thrashed.
