Pieper Pass
Pieper Pass, as approached from the east, in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area of Washington State.
In this photo, the main trail (PCT) continues straight (west/southwest). A boot trail branches off to the left (southeast), heading to the summit of Surprise Mountain. A boot trail branches off to the right (northwest), heading towards the summit of Spark Plug Mountain.
