Looking west from Pigeon Bluff, a named ridgetop located west of Altoona Hill, in Wahkiakum County, Washington. From Pigeon Bluff is a great viewpoint of Astoria, the Astoria Bridge, the Columbia River estuary, and Saddle Mountain (the Clatsop CoHP in Oregon). Pigeon Bluff is traversed while en route to Altoona Hill, and would be an excellent place to watch a sunset. Photo taken on November 7, 2010.
