Flag Pole

A pile of rocks and a stick marked the summit when I found it and I placed a register amidst the rocks for others to sign.

There was a flag pole on top in 2001. I guess someone took it down.

Re: Flag Pole

Any chance you might have an old picture of that? Do you know anything about Massive or Tintic?

Re: Flag Pole

Sorry; no photos.

I've climbed Tintic from the west side near Paul Bunyons Wood Pile. Unfortunately, it seems that now days there is an ATV track to the very top which didn't exist in previous years.

You should write a book

about all these peaks and bumps you've been on. I find it truly amazing how much you get around! Another great page Dean!

Re: You should write a book

Thanks Eric, Utah is such a great state and so many places to visit. I found another one worth visiting. Sabie Peak south of Vernon, east of Eureka. But, today I have to go to work. : (

Re: You should write a book

Whew! I was beginning to wonder if you worked! I feel better now. Not quite as jealous.

Yes, it was hard to not be outside today in such gorgeous weather. Eric (another Eric) Willhite put up this nice report on his web page today about our Sabie hike yesterday. Click here
