I was going by the climbing season in Bolivia. June-August is their winter. You could hike in the area year round. Might be harder to climb during some weather. Cheers!

Thanks, I've added the name. As I didn't make it to the top I was using the published altitude from Yossi's book. It seems like every mountain in SA is contested to what the 'true' altitude is. Cheers!

Transport costsA standard taxi can make it all the way to Tuni and should cost about $40 each way (2007).
