Pizzo Groppera

one of the most famous downhills of the Central Alps :
number 1 - Canalone del Groppera - requires absolutely safe snow, danger of avalanches in the mid part
number 2 - variant - can be used when the lower part of Camosci is too little snowy
number 3 - Camosci - is normally safe but requires much more skill and fit

the downhills are normally in fresh snow (no maintainance) and are classified as difficult (Black)

Re: Looks nice!

~ 900+ m from the upper cablecar station (~2800m) down to the sweeter slopes at the end of the channel (~1900m)
if you do it after the ski-mountaneering to Pizzo Stella you can think you've done one of the best downhill of the Alps :)
of course the end of the descent must be Madesimo (~1500m) to be reached along the Interpista or the Vanoni.
